Important visitor information
Disabled visitors
The Visitor Centre is wheelchair and disabled accessible. Access to the aircraft is via three flights of of ten steps each with no alternative. We ask that you are accompanied by a carer who is available to assist you throughout your visit.
The coach to take visitors to the Visitor Centre is accessed by low steps, which may not be suitable for all wheelchair users and those with mobility impairments. We suggest that you contact us on 0117 936 5485 to discuss your particular requirements.
Children
Unfortunately for safety reasons, children under 5 years of age are not permitted at Concorde at Filton. Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. A ratio of no more than 3 children per adult is allowed.
Photography
Cameras and video recorders are permitted inside and around the aircraft and in the Visitor Centre, although please refrain from using them elsewhere on the Airbus site for security reasons. Photographs or video recordings may only be used for personal, non-commercial use only.
Food and drink
No food and drink are allowed on the aircraft.
Smoking
There is no smoking anywhere in or around the Visitor Centre.
Footwear and bags
Please refrain from wearing high-heeled shoes as these may damage the aircraft interior and bulky bags are not permitted on the plane.
Dogs
No dogs, except guide dogs and assistance dogs, are allowed at the Visitor Centre.
The Visitor Centre is located on an operational airfield; anyone doing anything that interferes with operations of the airfield will be asked to leave.
